Superboy Vol 1 #119 (March 1965), by Otto Binder and Jerry Siegel with George Papp’s art, is a vibrant Silver Age issue with three stories. In “Superbaby’s First Time-Adventure!,” Superbaby chases a comet, breaks the time barrier, and lands in 2450. He halts a war between Zarian invaders and future Earthmen, finds a new planet for the Zarians, and returns to 1930 Smallville. In “The Millionaire of Smallville!,” Clark Kent’s rich uncle, Kendall Kent, believes he’s adopted Clark after a shock. Superboy plays along to protect Kendall’s mental health, saving a nitroglycerin truck and managing mansion chaos. In “The Duel of the Superboys!,” Dr. Diablo, hired by the Anti-Superboy Gang, creates a Superboy android, siphoning Superboy’s invulnerability, super-vision, and super-breath. Armed with Green Kryptonite, the android is ordered to kill Superboy but befriends him instead. Diablo destroys the android, but Superboy captures the villains.
