Marvel Tales Vol 2 #155 (reprinting Amazing Spider-Man #136), by Gerry Conway and John Romita Sr., is a chaotic Silver Age tale. Flash Thompson forms a Spider-Man Fan Club, excluding Peter Parker. Johnny Storm, as Human Torch, joins Spider-Man, but Peter flees when Aunt May suffers a heart attack. Human Torch faces Goblin alone, who escapes. Spider-Man is mocked as a coward, and Peter laments his inability to protect Aunt May.
