The Amazing Spider-Man #374 - "Venom’s Family Reunion Rampage!"

Price: Snag it before Venom slurps up the supply—value scoop below!
The Pitch:
Excelsior, true believers! The Amazing Spider-Man #374 is a February ’93 barnburner where Venom’s gone full rogue and decided family therapy means kidnapping Peter’s parents! That’s right—Spidey’s mom and dad, barely back in his life, get snatched by everyone’s favorite slobbering symbiote psycho, leaving Peter’s nearest and dearest in more danger than a cat in a dog park. Now, Spider-Man’s got to flex every muscle, web, and quip in his arsenal to save the Parkers from becoming Venom’s next chew toys. Michelinie crafts a tale dripping with tension and ’90s edge, while Bagley’s pencils make every tentacle lash and desperate swing pop like a blockbuster showdown. It’s Spidey vs. Venom in a family feud so messy, even Jerry Springer would blush!
Key Character Appearances:
  • Spider-Man: Peter’s pulling out all the stops to save his folks—heroics harder than explaining symbiotes to Aunt May!
  • Venom: Eddie Brock’s back, drooling and dangerous, turning a family reunion into a hostage crisis. We are Venom—and we’re unhinged!
  • Peter’s Parents: Richard and Mary Parker, fresh from “surprise, we’re alive!” to “surprise, we’re kidnapped!”—worst homecoming ever.
Current Value (April 2025):
Right now, a mid-grade copy (VG/FN 5.0) of ASM #374 is sticking at $20-$30. High-grade slabs (CGC 9.6 or 9.8) are slithering around $100-$140—Venom’s enduring hype and Bagley’s art keep it juicy. It’s no ASM #300, but it’s a symbiote staple!
Expected Value & Trends:
This one’s got teeth! Venom’s a perennial cash cow—movies, games, you name it—and ASM #374 ties him to a rare Parker family plot. If Venom’s next MCU outing (Venom 3 buzz?) or a Spider-Verse nod leans into this era, high-grades could ooze up to $180-$250 by 2026. Mid-grades might hit $50-$70 with a boost from ’90s nostalgia or a symbiote-heavy comic con reveal. Peter’s parents add a quirky twist—collectors love that emotional punch, so don’t sleep on this sleeper!
Why Buy Now?
ASM #374 is a gooey gem—Venom at his unhinged best, Spidey in full hero mode, and a family plot twist that hits like a symbiote sucker punch. It’s a must-grab for collectors, speculators, or anyone who loves their Spidey with a side of slobber. Snap it up before Venom’s hype train sends prices swinging higher than a web-line in a hurricane!
