The VCK Standard: The 3-Winner Giveaway "Always Three & Always Free"
It is extremely important to The Vegas Comic Kingdom that giveaways are entirely free to enter for everybody- that sincerely matters to us. We want it to be no purchase required but we also want to make sure the earliest and longest lasting followers are rewarded at a higher rate (while also keeping things random and fair + incentivizing new followers to participate). In order to be able to do so, we also need to ensure that bot accounts aren't creating new account and following (then unfollowing) VCK during giveaways in order to increase their chances at winning prizes unfairly.
Introducing THE VCK 3-WINNER GIVEAWAY: "Always 3 and Always Free"
In order to address those issues- within the parameters we set for ourselves, we came up with The VCK 3-Winner Giveaway. This system is designed to both reward long-time and early followers while also deterring bots from being able to win the prizes. It advances both of these goals while also incentivizing new followers to participate and secure their place on the list to get better odds at more extravagant giveaways down the road. The first winner will always come from a certain percentage of our earliest social media followers because that ensures they get the most opportunities to win a prize. If they miss out on the first round, they still have two more opportunities to win per giveaway. The second winner will always come from our entire current + a percentage of perspective new followers- this gives newcomers a reason to get in on the fun. Third place will be drawn from a list that includes every user that properly submitted at the time of contest closing- giving new meaning to better late than never! Ultimately, the sooner you follow, the higher you are on the follower list. The higher you are, the better your chances are at 1st Place/1st Pick. As time goes on, your chances only get better as long as you remain a follower!
1st Place Winners
Our team estimates around 90% of current followers at the time of posting, who properly submitted their entry, will be eligible for 1st place.
2nd Place Winners
Current projections show that around 110% of current and potential followers at the time of posting, who properly submitted their entry, will be eligible for 2nd place. This means people who have not yet followed will still be eligible for a prize of their choosing. (The 1st Place winner of this giveaway will have to wait until the next giveaway)
3rd Place Winners
We want all entrants to have a chance at a prize so it is important for us to have a 3rd place winner that is drawn from all properly submitted entries at the time of contest closing. (The 1st and 2nd Place winner of this giveaway will have to wait until the next giveaway)
We have not come across a system like this before so there may be hiccups but rest assured we have put our brains together and thought about this for a long time.
